Is it selfish to live for yourself

to live for everyone else

I mean

one can not change what's been scene'd

things we've done

what's been lost an won

can't go back or repeat, can't undo or redeem

we make decisions based on seeds

planted opinions and judgements it seems

what about me

what's inside these memories

some times we do things in the moment

mistake if it's mine, yeah I'll show up to own it

but I won't grow it, won't pass onto an opponent

just because I chose to reap

don't mean I have to keep on sew'n it

it's how we learn lessons

how we pass when we're tested

how we finish the line in the end roll'n credits

you can't go rewind the captions to edit

better hope you meant it all when you said it
