i was looking at “smlwiki” and got inspired to write this bulllllshit lol
There was actually an SMLWIKI reference before this point, at the Couple of Quarters episode
I do not know if this will have lore relevance yet, as I wanted to write this for fun. But I guess I can put this in the Slowmoto album since it mentions Keepers and Purgatory as the “reliable source” for the theory of Aetheon.
There existed a ravageful entity who stopped at nothing to ensure chaos in the old universe. They are only a rumor nowadays, but some say it takes on many forms, either the present, or the future.
Although their reign of chaos is always explained in past tense, often with frustratingly-vague terms on what they actually did, some claim that their reign would occur in the future. Others say that it is already happening. Some even suggest they’re not real at all.
But the scrolls in the Purgatory Catacombs would suggest otherwise.
Aetheon, the God of Imbalance, is sketched in these scrolls as a swirling grey and white mist, resembling a portal, with purple scars that resemble human-made wounds. The significance of their possible appearance is unknown, but it is said that their appearance came to a Great Keeper in a dream of theirs. Whether Aetheon theirself looks anything of the sort, is unknown.
That dream, in fact, may be the only proof of Aetheon’s existence.
Is it such a dream, that the Keepers would eventually give Aetheon life, through theories alone?
Only time will tell. Out of the Aethos, will rise the Great Unknown. People will know it, and cherish them, as their God. To pieces or to dust, is for them to decide.
And their name is fucking Aetheon.
