Walked in the building, mindin my business, just tryna get through the day,

Then outta nowhere, he approach me, lookin like he got somethin to say,

Ain’t even square up fair, nah, he rushed me, caught me off guard,

Swing after swing, I’m fightin back but this shit got hard.

 

He connect clean, I’m fallin back, crowd gatherin like it’s a show,

Then out my pocket slipped the blade, now everybody gotta know,

“Look what he got!” they yellin loud, now I’m the one on display,

Whole school watchin, talkin crazy, like I’m the villain that day.

 

I ain’t even get to use it, still, I’m the one they accusin,

Teacher rushin, security grabbin, now I’m the one losin,

They say I’m wrong, say I’m the problem, say I crossed the line,

But they ain’t see what happened, or what was on my mind.

 

Week pass, I’m back, but I ain’t the same

Ain’t no smiles in my face, only hate and rage

After school, I’m posted, waitin by the gate

Seen him laughin with his boys, yeah, I knew this was the day

 

Walked up calm, he ain’t think I’d react

Soon as he turned his head—boom—I cracked

Now he on the ground, I’m lettin loose, no breaks

All that anger built up, yeah, it finally escaped

 

People screamin, phones out, they recordin the scene

But I ain’t even hear it, tunnel vision, all red beam

He tried to cover up, but I ain’t lettin him breathe

This the same pain you gave me, bitch, now you feelin me

 

But it ain’t stop there, nah, shit got deep

Next day, I hear his whole crew lookin for me

Talkin reckless, sayin they gon jump me again

I said, “bet that,” called my homeboys, now we ready for war then

 

We outside, tension thick, air feel cold

They roll up deep, yeah, I see ‘em all bold

But my side slid through, now the odds evened out

One wrong move, then it’s on, ain’t no talkin it out

 

First punch thrown, then it turned to a storm

Bodies collidin, chaos all in the form

I’m duckin, swingin, hear the crowd yell loud

Adrenaline hittin, I ain’t thinkin now

 

One by one, they start backin away

My crew still breathin, yeah, we won that day

They ain’t expect we’d fight back like that

Now they scattered, whole scene went flat

 

We come to school next day, my mentality is dark

Since this shit wasn't in school, we don't get in trouble, we played it smart

I seen one of em pass by, my look challenged him to try

But he just kept walking, he ain't givin no reply

 

I got some cred, my reputation came back,

All just cus I gave this kid the smack

And the years pass by, but I remember that attack

And since then, I don't show nobody no slack
