My life in a single rap
- This is my life
- I hope you're ready
- started real good out in MI
- felt all the love and the hope and the will to try
- but all that changed when i died inside
- had to move and everything I had to lose
- all my friends left me I was alone
- and my heart turned dark it could chill you to the bone
- bullied in school from 8 to 11
- figured Id shoot up the school and probably go to heaven
- or hell whichever came first
- whether I rose or fell
- I switched schools things got better but not by much
- I started selling and pushing using drugs as a crutch
- I figured I'd just be alone for my life
- living on the edge of the knife
- I found out my best friend was a prostitute with a mean heroin addiction
- and the woman I loved for 7 years slowly became my affliction
- she too shot up and I couldn't help but caught up
- I started snorting oxy taking pain killers just to ease my soul
- and we all know how well that goes
- snorted cocaine heart beating faster than a rabbit
- picked up a mean alcohol habit
- I kept pushing though with some unholy will
- and I carry on today and I'm stronger still
- tried to kill myself 5 times now i see the beauty in life
- thought everything was going good moved to a different neighborhood
- then I got a call from my best friend he said good bye man this is the end
- I tried to help him I cried and I pleaded but he hung up the phone and proceeded to slit his wrist
- then 2 days later got a call from my friend in Taiwan ready to take a fall
- off a 6 story apartment I tried to help her too but it didn't do any good
- I thought of all things I could've and should've said
- but you cant apologize to the dead
- I started falling again picked up my oxy habit
- was considering trying one more time with the noose
- felt like I just couldn't hack it
- like there was a code to life and i just couldn't crack it
- I kept writing notes to everyone I love and I thought just one jump or one shove
- with the rope around my neck then I stopped and said what if
- I just wait one more day what if i just sit and say
- Ill do it later
- and here I am now trying my best to figure life out
- I'm only 21 got my life ahead of me
- I got a woman to love and a family ready to jump whenever I say
- Never thought I would see the day where I understand the madness
- never thought I'd see the method
- never thought I'd make it thought I'd probably end up a meth head
- or dead in a gutter and to this day I shudder when i think back to how I used to be
- now I live for 3 things love friends and family.
