CHALLENGER'S RAP

  • Hm, where do I start?
  • Those distinct sounds of me impaling its carcass repeatedly still echoes throughout the chambers of my heart.
  •
  • A wave of deadness washes over me.
  • Attempting to reflect on the ripple effect
  • (Is this a depersonalized scenario of a story?)
  • There is blood on my hands... Blood of a beast, a beast that may not even exist outside of my own mind
  • (Is this a figment of traumatization, or purgatory?)
  •
  • Here I lay, upon this entrail-ridden jetty
  • By overnight amidst the frigidity resting
  • Into a ball I've curled, with frostbitten blisters
  • Night terrors unfurled, the darkness consumes my whimpers.
  • The sun rises as chirping birds serenade a new day's arrival
  • Awakened to the warmness of the rays and its marvelous, marvelous eyeful.
  • Achy and immovable on my side,
  • Anxious to a sense of something ominous about the wind
  • (W-w-why..why...)
  • Tussling in a fit of rage to sleep paralysis,
  • Unable to move with no choice but to drown in its, despair...
  • (The Lord's prayer)
  • Whispering it under my breath, for hours and hours...
  • Until I spot a distant thunder that's crept,
  • An uproarious stampede of downpouring showers.
  • In extreme perturbation I faint and drift into an out-of-body experience by somnambulism
  • I feel the dog shooting daggers on the prowl,
  • I listen...
  • In an increasingly worrisome disposition the storm nears as I hear the black dog's reverberating howl.
  • Woeful clouds, calamitous sounds
  • It hovers over me rumbling the ground
  • Debris flying around, trees falling down and CRASHING
  • A flash of the afterlife suddenly penetrates my soul as I ROUSE!
  • Struck by a lightning bolt (BLAOW)
  • Gasping for air, panting, splashing
  • In disbelief of this revelation in these shallow waters near the dock... Where I slaughtered the black dog...
  • Stinging gashes all over my body, I sit stationary in disbelief as I rock...
  •
  • (The birds are chirping, Mother Earth's green beauty's flourishing)
  •
  •
  •
  • Hm, it was me who woke up in the center of that red circle of blood dispersing...
  •
  •
  •
  •
  •
  • This is nostalgia in the prism of a metaphorical painting.
  •
  • He was in his '67 Shelby playing Led Zeppelin's Black Dog when he called for his sweetheart
  • She told him she loved him but she's a liar and a cheat and it drove him crazy,
  • So he resorted to being drunk behind the wheel.
  • Her unfaithfulness drove him crazy,
  • Off a cliff all the way down to the foothills.
  • And onto the shore under a grove of willow trees.
  • He knows
  • He knows there are plenty more pebbles on the beach
  • From what he chose
  • A lot them are in his eyes but he can still smell the rose...
  • ... And it's dead in the water

  • I drop be-headed presidents in the slots of a piggy's back, jars, and even cans /
  • If dead Presidents had circulations, I would of cut them with tight wrapped rubber bands /
  • put saved dead Presidents in a wallet or stash, till i've reached advance /
