Let's Do This

I hear some creativity/ coming from lyricist proclaiming Christianity/

Quite literally/ they take it seriously/ to the core of their belief/

The secular world helped stir up some relief/ to those who don't believe/

The irony of this controversy/ is it sparked a new life that wanted to breathe/

Lighting the soul on fire in rhythm of those needing to seek a new way to see/

Expressing externally/ their faith to the maximum amount of energy/

God has a way of turning controversy/ into His glory/

 

 

So Let's Do This/

Lift this to the roof/ for truth to shine through us/

We lean on God for the courage of living like Jesus/

Time for our hypocrisy to be brought to dust/

So do what you must/ and remove the rage and fuss/

I know it's tough/ and that's why knowledge of the Word is a must/

 

 

However, truth be told/ I know it's hard and sometimes cold/

Like the light doesn't shine in all parts of your soul/

I'm not trying to be blind to the enemy of old/

Humankind/ has been victim to an endless rhyme/ of times foretold/

Played on by the wicked that turns over every stone/

Searching and seeking with a drive driven by an evil one who is known/

So I have a bone/ against this/ with an alarming defense/ to convince this/ like a light needing to be shown/

A light that stands alone/ only one will forever be sitting on the throne/

So take a knee/ and bow in humility/ for forgiveness and grace to be grown/

And the once cold soul/ will be a thing of old/ beyond the despair a repair of the soul will feel like home/

A word that may mean empty/ to many/ but believe me/ the gift given to humanity/ is welcoming of seeking a unity/

So let's unite under the only one who holds the power to our destiny

Showing common courtesy/ to the hungry/ stop the hatred to our society/

Lift up the reality/ so we can save the lost and bring the light of Christianity/

I walk around and see the headlines/ someone always warning of the end times/

Other major news of hollywood actors/ and what may bring about another disaster/

Weddings and glorious flowers/ shown on others like a needle in a haystack from a positive advertiser/

With more articles speaking on the new current COVID rates growing even faster/

Doom and gloom/ around the corner, only to bring in burden/ but keep growing and learning/

I'm starting to see and becoming discerning/

We better start seeking our hearts with God during this warning/

Set aside your personal conviction/ that just keeps your mind burning/

But with the wrong intensity/ of interest/ you must forgive first and truth in this/

Make room in your mind and soul for God's teachings that already been given/

Sitting there just staring/ wanting you to pick up and begin finding the eternal compassion given/

Then it's easy to understand what is currently happening/

No more distractions need to be stopping this new awareness of sin/

No one knows when doom times will begin/

That isn't what we were told to be concerned in/

But your neighbor the current times you live in/

Give the shirt off the back of your skin/ help those without any political intervention/

Stop this created camp of detention/ we aren't bound by governmental suspension/

We have freedom of religion/

Speech and decision/

So as you sit there and listen/

It's time to change the outcome of indecision/ and blind sin/

God already handed us the win/ seek Him first before condemning other men/
