There's a million words that I could say to tell you how I feel

I could send the lyrics round again, spokes upon the wheels

Just loop da loops of love songs, I heard so long ago

But they would just be xerox copies of what i want to show

So I'm outside of the box to a place I'm rarely seen

And I'm hoping I will find the phrases, escape cliches

And tell you exactly what I mean, When I say

Saying that I love you is my most highly prized privilege

 

It could take a while to write out every combination

Of ways I see the world after a single conversation

With you and true it seems to be the rule in general

That we talk for hours at a time and once again I'll

Take the blame for that, we both know that I'm a chatterbox

That if I could I would dialogue until the solar system stops.

And yet when you start to speak somebody cuts my vocal chords

I only hear the things you say and I lose all of my retorts

And figure how to brush your hair and tuck it gracefully behind your ear
