It's all I really wanted to say

From the first time that I saw you I just couldn't look away

Sittin across the room, gazing at me with those ocean eyes

Did you possibly see me too?

Boy was I in for surprise

 

We started off as friends

We talked about our lives

You asked me everyday "how are you, are you alright?"

I answered with a yes

you opened up my heart

You understood, me for me right from the very start

 

Always so sweet to me

You seemed to really care

Stole my heart and sparked feelings that all started with a stare

We had fun and we laughed every second of the day

But our friendship came to an end when you went the other way

 

So why?

And to this day I still wonder

If you were just gonna ditch me

Why the fuck did you even bother

All the times we spent together

Were they real? Were they fake?

Did you really mean every fucking thing that you said?

 

It hurts cause I miss you even though I know I shouldn't

You made me feel happy at times when everyone else couldn't

It sucks cause I don't know what we were truly meant to be

But I can tell you one thing, you meant a hell of a lot to me
