Speakin' My mind

I've got a whole lot to say

I lost a lot of good friends on the way

I only speak my mind

Got some words I need to find

To tell you the truth

I try to live young and respect my youth

But it's hard when people want you to be something you're not

But Imma give it my best shot

 

I hold my hope close to my heart

I pray to the skies and I change my stars

Just put yourself in my position just try to envision

With the loose grip I'm hanging on to my existence

But I will make it, God knows I try

See the Devil try to look in my eyes

I resist

I'm holding on with my finger tips

 

I'm surprised I made it this far

Have to keep myself from fallin' but it's hard

I don't care if you're the only one who'll listen

Don't care if I'm stranded long distance

And if may make this one thing clear

I've taught myself to have no fear

We've got to live in the moment

Take it in our hands and own it
