SidA - #Book of Myths

• Written by

//Intro//

All my haters
My doubters
I’m a supernatural fighter

//Chorus//

Marvels, mysteries, magical to men
No rest without some answers to 'em
So we make our own explanations to 'em
So we will answer our own questions to 'em
Think a little less (bruh) so we feel at peace with 'em
we bleed when we fell, so we start talking with 'em
The dear little thing that's stuck in the skies looking at them

//Verse 1//

Full of questions I’ll always be
Free to ask it freely, can you see me?
Flowers from seeds growing to be
Wonderfully that you felt me
Wondering how it all came to be
Asking all I think know these mysteries see
How many stars are there we can’t see
What are they made of and came to be
What makes the wind blow so cold and free
How does a tower raise from a tiny seed
Lingering marvelously for answers
They don’t always satisfy me
I was given reasons which seemed
Just as difficult to understand we
Puzzled and told something -[anything]-
Much less interesting than thinking freely
Young ones told to wait to grow -[glowingly]-
To be learning answers at school you see -[lying to me]-
Now we older and begun to understand
Very little about the wonderful laws
That govern the universe and give
Place to the myriad of stars -[been to Mars]-

//Bridge//

A home was imagined for 'em
The world for them
Not only peopled by men
Signs of presence beyond some man
Perceived on land and on the pure, swayed, water
In the air we breath and the sky we see (oh see)

//Verse 2//

You can tell by my alienated bars
Whereas once I saw without physical laws
The great and obvious marvels
Now again becoming aware -[without fear]-
That everything, even the stone waysider
Scarcely less than the sun itself has a story
Interesting and exciting as any fairy-tale
Teller has ever told for kids to be sold
While losing their natural soul -[world so cold]-
So when you read the myths and legends
I’ve been told, remember how you felt before
Humanity made you sore, ended your soaring
Made us snoring for our minds not boring
The lies told to answer the questions
Explaining the things that before
Was so puzzling and delighting you
Remember the early days of a nation’s
History where even the grown didn’t frown
Just as you felt when you were
Just a very little child with a free mind

//Chorus//

//Bridge//

And so they answered me
And so they told me
They answered me
They told me

//Verse 3//

Yeah I’m a superpower -[Superpowers]-
Connected higher every hour
Best friend a black Knight
Orbiting in flight strongest at night
Like a satellite I might bite
Flow like a kite up like at site
Recently discovered where -[Discovered here]-
The sun go in night-time
Dark-side of the moon be mine
Running out of time -[out of time]-
But I am father time yeah
So this written destiny is mine
Remember a time not so long ago
When this world was quite new
Mow when I go wondering how
The sun and moon and stars show
The wind and the rain turn to snow
Buds that came on trees for free
Now it’s time to set SidA out freely

//Chorus//

Marvels, mysteries, magical to men
No rest without some answers to them
So we make our own explanations to them
So we answer our own questions to them
Think a little less so we feel at rest with them
Hurt when we fell, so we start talking with them
The dear little star in the skies looking at them
