Stayed the Same

Time to give it the old college try

Feeling like my knowledge high

Well know I guess that I

Am about to attempt to commit murder on verse

No one else could create some to hurt the whole universe

In just a few short lines

With a few short rhymes

I guess sometimes

You just got to able to put it all down with this pen and paper

And be able to crumple it up throw it across the room two minutes later

And sometimes you words could be a saber

Cutting through all your enemies

While harnessing all of your energy

Thinking no one could ever be

Able to top whatever you've written

But then they come in with opinions

And suddenly your some kinda villain

Corrupting the minds of their children

But you shake them off cause your building

Something that would topple any of the words they've spoken

Because you've spent the time you got the devotion

Because you've put in your heart you got the emotion

Well now you know that your never going to be outspoken

Due to everything you have or haven't spoken

Keep these lines as a little token

To remember me by as I fade into time

As a man a master of his prime

Who wasn't afraid to make a climb

Over the top of every mountain

Who was always just screaming and shouting

Whose words were always astounding

Left your ears ringing and pounding

An overwhelming desire in your brain

For more lines that just never came

And the world just stayed the same
