Kobe Bryant 1978-2020

I idolized you ever since I was in high school
And started playing basketball since as I saw you
From the television screen or even in person
Dunking on some dudes making them their burden
I never forget the day you scored 81 points
5 rings 2 gold medals you never disappoint
When I was told that Jordan would be the Greatest of all time
I will never forget that you brought the Lakers back to their prime
I put you up there with Iverson and LeBron James.
You're the best next-gen baller since Dr. J
Playing for the same team for 20 years like damn
I can see why you are still the man
When I see a report when you died in a crash
On the news, my heart broke man it's so tragic
A champion gone too soon which hit the hardest
Rest in Peace Kobe Bryant you will be missed

Some fans might hate you, but to me, you're loved
Cool calm and collected and never been judged
When you won your 5th ring man I knew you're a legend
Made immortality as you won the second gold medal
But the injuries in your body really took its toll
And you knew that it really time to go
But you never gave up, and you kept on going
Like an old pro with making it good with an encore
In 2016 which was your last game against the Jazz
Where you scored 60 points and beat their ass
And now you're gone which is a tragic day
In a helicopter crash in the mountains in L.A.
What else could I say, man, you're my hero
Thanks for all the memories for the young and old
A champion gone too soon which hit the hardest
Rest in Peace Kobe Bryant you will be missed
