Pagliacci's Notes
As I descend into the reality of the 40 hour workweek sitting behind a desk, I can't help but daydream about a simple life in harmony with the earth.
Prodced by Cosmoddyssey, check him out!

Song art by visionary artist Mark Henson. (I do not own this art nor intend to make profit from it)
Woke up, late another morning, stretch and I’m yawning
Best to ignore the sense, that i’m falling
Cause there’s theres stress, that is calling
Gotta get to work, no time for recording
Sitting in an office, something feels cynical
Sorta like a hospice, waiting for time to get at you
Whittle you, from each and every angle
Reach for your dreams, but you’re too entangled
least I got a window, I see the wind blow
Earth spirits are alive like in Shinto
Wistful, cause the birds and the bees are free
and I’m stuck in this 7 to 3
So I dream, little scenes where the earth is clean
baths in a stream, the air is pristine
Plant my own seeds, trade greed for greens
Soaking in the sunbeams, in harmony
I know it’s just a little fantasy
The caged bird sings of a masterpiece
But he’s fast asleep, past his peak
And his lunch break’s over, there’s tasks to complete
So he snap back, real fast, out of a daydream
NASDAQ, cash grabs, deep in a pay scheme
Thinking he’s probably gone insane
But little does he know, the others think the same
