Was smoking weed but I wanted a new mindset,

Friend came over asked to get my mind bent,

Said damn right so tell me where your mind's at,

Offered LSD and you know I'm tryna pop that,

 

Gave a few days so we could plan the night,

Made sure everything would damn be right,

Checking all the places we could find in sight,

Knowing when we pop it we gon find the light.

 

We just start flying, man this shit is dope,

Sticking with this shit we never snorting coke,

Popping LSD with some weed to smoke,

Everything moving when I take a toke,

 

Anyone who's never had it couldn't understand it,

The feeling so fantastic that nothing else could grant it,

Some people couldn't stand it lose their mind after they hit,

Cause if you aren't prepared then it make you feel like shit,

Heard my friend lost their mind it made me say "that's it",

Made me put it up, didn't hesitate to quit.

Cause I know there are other ways to escape,

Safer ways to ignore all the pain and hate.

 

It ain't worth my life just to have a good time,

You don't need LSD to feel sublime.

Looking for a cure, yet I'm in my prime,

 

So I sat down in my chair to try to write some rhymes,

Telling myself it's ok you'll be alright,

Just live your life the way that you want to,

And don't do nothing that'll come to haunt you,

Your only 18 so why you in a rush,

To go make mistakes and try to fuck up?

Got so many friends why you in a rush to lose them,

While you do, then they'll remember you,

But if you scoot, then they won't need to,

You'll lose your friends but they got more,

So better stick with it gotta settle these scores,

And no more dumbass mistakes I know,

Turn away from the needles, say no to the blow,

If it's a tab drop it, cause nothing else will stop it,

Just stick to exos and weed, cause it's all you'll ever need,
