Memories

Sometimes I get nostalgic, drowning in the memories of the past.

It seems to me like magic, our lives are moving so fast.

But sometimes you have to stop, memories conceal the gold.

They can give you hope when you're feeling cold.

I wonder what happened to my best childhood friend.

My family moved away bringing our friendship to an end.

But the memory remains as a heartwarming feeling.

It will stay with me as long as I am breathing.

I was only 10 when we moved to a different country.

It was December but my new home was warm and sunny.

It was funny, in the beginning, I couldn't even speak.

I didn't know the language, but I was not unique.

So many other kids were just like me.

We soon became friends, so fortunately.

17 years have passed, thank you for all those years.

It has gone so fast, I can't stop the tears.

 

My memories will always stay with me

As long as I'm breathing they will stay with

That's my life path, Why should I forget it?

Missing a single moment, I don't want to regret it.

 

Back then I found my love, my true passion.

Music made my heart skip a beat without a question

Here's my confession it became my obsession.

My progression, my way of self-expression.

I can't see my life without it, it feels so hollow.

It gives my life a meaning, gives me a dream to follow.

It gives me the strength to keep on going.

This love won't fade away, it still keeps on growing.

All those years I left behind made me who I am today.

The man who believes he can achieve going all the way.

The man who is not afraid and believes in the day that follows.

Who believes one day he can reach as high as Apollo.

There's no time to waste as clock ticks the life away.

But there's nothing to be scared of, it supposed to be this way.

There's no future without past, and present is the key.

So do all you can and just let it be.
