Stolen breath

 

 

And just like that,

so fast the moment happened.

Breathless at the very presence.

Stole mine before I even senses his essence.

His fingertips traced over my lips as if to steal the very words from me,

before I could even speak.

Speechless, breathless.

I was frozen in the moment.

Was it him or I that chose this.

The gentle skin with roughness around the edges.

Consumed by the very gravitational pull,

That makes you fall to your knees to them.

How can one make you fall so endlessly,

yet you never hit the ground.

How can you be so high from the intoxication of chemistry,

Never combust or drowned.

All fires to turn to ash.

So how does one keep the firing burning for so long?

Kindling the fires, savoring every ember.

Never to burn out....
