the french revolution

• Written by

(in )1789 France was in trouble.
no food, no money it was a struggle.
All the french people divided in three
under the ancien regime No one was free
Louis the 16th, looking for peace.
called the Estates General, the parties filled their seats.
but the people had enough third party's out the door .
(they made the)- tennis court oath,"I'm not leaving this floor".
Rumor after rumor the Bastille's in trouble.
A riot broke out and they left nothing but rubble.
with heads on their spikes they walked out in victory .
the day to remember , the new independence day.
its the great fear and streets are all clear.
Lafayette fighting a battle thats near.
resistance to opression in the natural rights of men
(Born free with equal rights)
liberty, property, security the natural rights of citizens
But the women werent happy because of madam defecit they marched down to
versalis
took the king and queen to paris
to be killed by the gullotine caught trying to betray
Its now the rain of terror leaving no room for misktake
with france at war ,no one could bear to take
with No more church, no king
France was filled with mass slaughtering
They wanted a perfect republic
but there was violence that no one could stomach
Robespierre had a fatal flaw
he tried to shoot himself in the jaw
Marat found dead in the tub
things are already heated up
No more leaders left that they could trust
then napoleon came walking the street
he fought the battles no one could defeat
