The Dragon(To be Continued)
• Written by TheArchitect
Deep beneath the surface the fire is burning
Dungeon walls are dark and grimy something is lurking
The floor under me shifts I feel the anger churning
I clutch at my heart and try to stop it from bursting
At the other end of this ancient corridor of kings
I see the Holy Grail chalice surrounded by ten golden rings
As I approach the pedestal a giant cage appears
Behind the darkness two dangerous eyes peer
Into my soul strike fear into my very being
To me it seems that what I'm seeing is evil
Yet familiar for some reason it's similar
Looking at them reminds me of mine
But out of time I hear a growl deeper than a wolf's howl
The darkness recedes and behold I can see it now
A mighty dragon colored red as blood
Between its mighty eyes the fire of a thousand suns
