Power of the People

• Written by

Suppress the oppressed with a mandate
Milking profits into the pockets call that lactate
Situation abysmal we dismal, dug up a mandrake
You seclude to collude, the outcome of the dirty handshake
Discuss the fuss within the inner circle
Their actions got them sounding like they quoting Virgil
Ironic that maybe our hubris is too fertile
You had too many chances, you ain't Steve Urkel

The system is a schism, in it's own criticism
Sad that the mission is trapped in a prism
Got the same vision, but lack the definition
You say it's precision, but with another position

Would be better off it was a stalemate, but the only thing stale is our god damn fate
You be siding with us when it's too late
Should've taken better care of us, p.s. Mary-kate

Acclimate to the tyrant's reign
A crisis always precipitates
Scared that we educate cuz we ain't no primates
no creds no merit, only the stick no carrot
what happens is established and can't change your habits
say we bite the hand that feeds, but no food in the basket
this century's defiant, this century we define it

Better check my premises
Don't want no nemesis
A safe environment
RIP retirement
My life is finer than
20k bracelet
Family embrace em
Love is like vitamins
Ene-methamphetamines (enemies + methamphetamine)
Want peace like zen
Ain't filthy, no pig's den
No more killing men
Blood be spilling
This ain't happening cuz I ain't a
Cold-blooded reptilian
If I use my fingers I can only count to ten
Use my mind then I can count to infinity
Do you hear this emphasis
Life has many voices
Both paths got Royce's
But I hope you make the right choices
