seven deadly sins

This is my song about the seven deadly sins/

each and every one of them is evidently grim/

I'm separate from heaven and they'll never let me in/

not while I'm practicing the seven deadly sins.

With violence, I try not to get angry at all/

what transpires, it backfires and get stabbed in a brawl/

so I pipe down my wide mouth with less arrogant talk/

cos the rage that we display is like a red rag to a bull/

I'm so - easily misguided/

by greed that's inspired by fiends and the sick minded/

material possessions that keep me a bit blinded/

and only God knows where the demons have been hiding/

my sin's widespread- I'm lazy and slothful/

I just want to sit on my ass and do sod all/

it's not God's fault- I should remain watchful/

I need to spend more time in the bible reading the Gospel/

I see the vanity with crystal clear clarity/

The mirror's picture perfect like the person staring back at me/

I can't deny the pride that borders on insanity/

or define the line that's normal in reality/

would someone please tell Ben that lust is a sin/

it just seems that where the fun ends the trouble begins/

so appealing is the feeling of the touch of the skin/

but there's everything to lose but there's nothing to win/
