No Room To Err
• Written by OutsideBones
Open word poetry,
Spoken for mic night,
Not motivated by money,
All I want is not to want, but that's what you take from me!
To love means to trust,
Knowing that all life has crawled from the dust,
Inching and worming it's way through dirt,
Yearning to burst through the crust.
You can cripple someone's heart,
If you only concern comes from lust,
Only takes one to try it,
Really only takes one to break one to buy it.
That's why no matter the state of the packaging,
The golden rule is a must.
No profundity from punditry,
In spite of the topics, disgust!
Son of a left fis-ted, lazy, God...
Sought-often. Rescues the strays, or not?
See now people aren't the problem,
cuz it's the mobs that kill you.
Jobs can thrill you...
Don't thumb your hammer at the tongue in cheek, cause times an anvil!
Bottom line is properties like wax on candle.
Borderline at crossing time, is God a mandril?
You won't find your truth inside of a tome.
The Odyssey is not a poem...
It ain't really that hard to see salt!
That part of me the artist he is Outside Bones
...
That part of me the artist he is Outside Bones
...
Son of a left fis-ted lazy God...
Sought of-ten, rescues the strays, or not?
Spend too much time wanting what I'm not,
Cannibal cheetah I eat up my spots.
You don't understand, fuck the plan!
I can go cannonball where there is water or not.
Whether I ought to or not, whole different story,
For shorties, four stories, that's kind of a drop.
Life comes at you full steam and don't stop!
I pull more from the ground than the source of a shock.
Gravity loves all of my VINYL-discs,
... The fatal laws of attraction.
If my spine ruptures lifting my chest,
Huh?... That is just a distraction.
Watch you smile as you lie through your lips,
Twisting my words to gain traction.
You duck for cover, I roast on the spit!
That is it's own satisfaction.
Son of a left fis-ted lazy God...
Sawed-off ten rescues, the strays? or-NOT.
