Another Day at the Job
• Written by JUNKEY
Caught up in the feel of the moment
The night is dark out zoning out I reminisce
On a day took it toll plotting away to move forward
On star I make a wish can't be sitting on a bench
That only profits the poor getting straight to the core
Know that the world means war caught in a self-made story
Rhyme to get the gist people insult my intelligence
While all spoken with eloquence, question if my study was
Relevant, using data for internet thanking God for dependable
Service, Blackouts serve their purpose enlight
Condescending Circus, high minded they all need cursing
Fall back cause all my bosses, like halted brush across
mid stride hope not to deviate from the line
From birds eye can hear the wind chimes
Confidence to not stay behind guess it pays
Right now to rewind play back on the day and its trials
Restless under these dark skies these are the days of my life
Die inside just tryna be polite respond in kind who am I
Pretend could not hurt a fly beast within I know it resides
Concealed under these suit and ties and bias within these eyes
Reflects a hurt held tight pray relief when all comes to light
