Buried too deep
• Written by Potent
I got a mind full of vaults, blueprints in the thunder,
Secrets in my cerebrum, buried under plunder
Whispers in the static, encrypt every syllable,
Talk in Morse code, syllogisms un-spinnable.
I’m a walking cipher, syllables in shackles,
Truth tucked tighter than a safe with twisted padlocks.
Lip zippers, slit grins, poker face glacial,
My mind the only map, legend's never spatial.
Interrogators stutter, tryna jigsaw the silence,
I ghost in my grammar, no evidence of violence.
Confessions on the tip, they dissolve in the ether,
I’m a master of the void, turn a scream to a breather.

You want the code? I got the keys in a maze,
Each phrase is a labyrinth, but I never betray.
Tales untold, like gold in a pyramid’s keep,
What I know never sleeps, but it’s buried too deep.
I thread needles with the tales, don’t let ‘em unravel,
Every question you ask, just another road gravel.
I’ll admit to a riddle, but deny you the answer,
My tongue’s a magician, turning hints into banter.
Signals in the eyes, Morse in a glance,
The truth’s in the cadence, hidden in the dance.
I could write a symphony with the hush of my breath,
Every note a confession, but silence is deft.
Interrogate my shadow, it’ll smile in reply,
I’m a chess grandmaster, two moves from a lie.
I don’t wear a mask, I become the disguise,
Secrets ride shotgun, camouflaged in my rhymes.

You want the code? I got the keys in a maze,
Each phrase is a labyrinth, but I never betray.
Tales untold, like gold in a pyramid’s keep,
What I know never sleeps, but it’s buried too deep.
Guilt’s a ghost in the wires,
But my lips are barbed wire
I’m the myth in the choir,
Turn a truth to a pyre.
So knock on my door, bring your questions and thunder
You’ll leave with more puzzles, I’ll still be the hunter.
Confide in my echo, you’ll hear the refrain:
A secret in my mind?
That’s eternal domain.
