Deliverance (Interlude)
• Written by RapBoat
My mindstate caving down again, Jiminy cricket on sabbatical so I slip again
And again, I swear I can’t advance like this, I’m hunting for deliverance
I’m scrapping with my spirit, got inner-war belligerence
Artillery pounds to the limbic system keeping me locked inside the cell I been constructing, mental larceny
Dripping from the edges of my reveries now it seems it’s leaving me
Embers spitting, ain’t no leeches draining me, devils try to say it different, but I still believe in me
Still feel it in the heartbeat deep in me, Ali Shaheed seasoned beats for my scenery
A guy posted, digging through crates and mp3s, earning his degree in slicing rhythms, scratching 33s
Now he got new utilities, won’t let this world Kennedy my creativity,
I’m true art, a blue spark, flavor rich
Used to say that Maxes were my favorite kicks
Days viewed through rose colors
Advanced my prose, back on and rediscovered
A couple brothers are missed, blessed for the ones I’ve gained
Life is blessings and pain and that’s the way it’s explained
