The Blood-Carved Curse
• Written by StarlingRoth3303
I feel the curse beneath my skin
a serpent coiled around my heart,
It wakes whenever I let someone in
and tears them open, limb from part.
This curse is called loneliness
It makes me feel i have to depart
It posses my mind and cuffs my wrest
Inside depression I've got these scars
I've seen the night it's darker than darth
I was fightin' alone against these czars
The curse is stretchin' coverin' my eyes
But if i died would i'll see the sight ?
I've seen these signs that's clear for blind
But i've kept to search hopin' i can find
A cure to help and cut these binds
Do you think if i died can i rewind ?
I've lost my hope that i can survive
Iris is covered i can't see delight
I've waited for rain but it never came
I've looked to sky can you see these breaks ?
I've heard the thunder it's ravin' my ears
I was always runnin' but i didn't reach
I've seen the curse it begins to bite
and every vein turns cold as stone
I feel the dark erase my light
it wants my soul and also my bone.
I’ve tried to scream but lost my voice,
the echo is died inside my chest;
And now I stand without a choice,
a broken heart that can’t find rest.
I'm rollin' my eyes lyin' on the ground
I've seen it comin' and heard its sound
A last gaze i've looked to the clouds
I've seen the drops begin to bow
The clouds collapsed like broken wings,
their shadows sinking into mine;
I reached for something hope could bring,
but found the dark by its design.
The curse kept whisperin’ through the storm,
it shaped my fate, it wrote my name;
And every tear that left me warm
turned into ice before it came.
