Even the sun goes down, planets eventually die
Prophecies often lie and sometimes why
Nothin' is for sure, nothin' is for certain, nothin' lasts forever
But until God close the curtain
Just hear this verse
ReUniverse

I believe we're nothing but dust in the wind
From Kansas, Ohio, Brazil, wherever place you in
Somewhere in space a higher intelligence may spot
This pale blue dot where petty human beings slowly rot
We are not the main characters of this plot
You're not worth what you bought, just stop, we were just caught
Somewhere in time, in an age where clay action figures
Claim their kingdom of power over wisdom while they pull the trigger
You see, wars are pointless, when you compare
The size of continents, to the galaxies out there
Examine the conditions for life around the universe through spacepods
We're alive by chance, what are the odds?
Temperature, oxygen, perfect atmosphere
An unique combination allowing us to be here
So what's the point? Why are we alive anyway?
The end is nigh, I sigh and live another day

Even the sun goes down, planets eventually die
Prophecies often lie and sometimes why
Nothin' is for sure, nothin' is for certain, nothin' lasts forever
But until God close the curtain
Just hear this verse
ReUniverse

Twice upon a time there was a star who died
It took a while, but it morphed into a dwarf in the sky
His big brother passed away in a different way
Like a supernova, exploding, his shiny days are over, hey
For each thing we seen and therefore comprehend
There's a million we just look at and just can't pretend
Like we sit here in our home and understand
How the universe retracts and then expands
I could write a play, set a date and then rehearse
Put together a script, try to explain the universe
You know all that I know, cuz you just heard this verse
But maybe we can try to get the entropy reversed
From little steps to big leaps, mankind's a dirty fraction
Can we reset it all? Help me answering this question
A voice from afar spoke to me this night
"Insert a coin, press start and Let There Be Light"

Even the sun goes down, planets eventually die
Prophecies often lie and sometimes why
Nothin' is for sure, nothin' is for certain, nothin' lasts forever
But until God close the curtain
Just hear this verse
