Ascend

• Written by

Yo, raised in the storm where the pain cut deep,
Mama’s hands hurt, but I learned how to leap.
Dad worked two jobs just to keep lights on,
While I fought my demons before I was gone.

No silver spoon, just struggle and pride,
Sleepless nights where the shame tried to hide.
But every scar became fuel for the flame,
Now I’m building my name from a different frame.

Dad got his business, we rose from the mud,
Now I’m stacking my wins like I knew that I could.
Bankin’ on blessings, no luck in the game,
Just sweat, sacrifice, and a dream I reclaimed.

You talk 'bout pain? I lived it, then left it,
Now I’m living proof that the broken can flex it.
From trauma to triumph, I rewrote the end —
This ain’t just a rap… this is where I ascend.
