Start of August

Today hit different, yeah, time froze still,
Saw you walk in the world lost its will.
That fork-cut dress, like a story untold,
You wore it like art, fierce yet bold.
Hair fallin’ like a melody, smooth and long,
Eyes like verses in my favorite song.
And that smile? Man, it lit the grey
Even silence tried to find words to say.
The way you looked today, girl, you stole the light,
Made the sun blush, gave the stars the night.
I watched, I stared, but couldn’t say
Just froze in awe… of the way you looked today.
Mid-chubby, yeah, but perfectly carved,
Not too little, not too far.
Grace in steps, voice in sway,
You made the mundane feel like ballet.
Everyone else was background fade,
You were the highlight frame by frame.
I wish I had the heart to say,
“Damn girl, you slayed it today.”
Maybe I’m just some face in the shade,
But inside, I wrote poems as you made your way.
No filters, no edits, no lies to play
You were just… beautiful. All the way.
The way you looked today, girl, you stole the light,
Made the sun blush, gave the stars the night.
I watched, I stared, but couldn’t say
Just froze in awe… of the way you looked today.
Maybe one day, I’ll say it clearly,
How every detail pulled me near.
But for now, in silence, I replay
That flawless moment…
The way you looked today.
