We live in a system so shattered and twisted
We’re fragments- distracted, addicted, enlisted
Devolped these habits not cause we wanted
we’re just tryna to escape the reaches of trauma
So society labels us problems and threats
Beaten down daily, no love, just debts
Now I’m sittin in silence this tragedy swells
A loop I can’t break- like some self conceived hell
Too broken to run, too lost to be found,
Payin the price just for stickin around
Too tired to fight and that’s how they win
You push back once now you labeled as sin
We’re lost to the system
Tryna breath in the smoke
Numb from the pressure
But still we don’t choke
Victims or villains
No room in between
They erase who we are
Just to fit in the scheme
So we run from the pain
Fade into the night
Just a spark in the dark
Tryna hold on to light
We’re lost to the system
But I’m speakin the truth
If I burn in this fire
Then I burn for the youth
Everyday war, and the frontlines our mind
They say freedoms a gift but they leaviin us blind
Feedin us lies, while they profit from pain
Polarizing ourselves till nothin remains
There’s no other choice so we’re forced to succumb
In a perilous search just to be to be numb
Villainized by the masses cause they’re too fucking dumb
We medicated, sedated, and hated
Dreams are outdated, hopes consficated
But I ain’t a puppet, i see through the strings
I know what they fear. It’s the power we bring.
They want us divided. Too tired to speak.
Chained by the silence. Made to feel weak.
