lone-lyin

• Written by

I breathe alone... I bleed alone...
Every night I speak alone.
I don’t need a crowd,
Just a voice that stays when I drown.

Damn… loneliness,

You wear my skin like a dress.
I hate you...
But I miss you...
Still you never said yes.

I cry in silence... I scream in sleep,
Laugh in crowds, but my hurt runs deep.
Tried to fill the void with noise and sound,
But even echoes let me down.

You sit with me when no one will,
You're loud as hell when the world is still.
You kiss my thoughts, then slit my peace,
You leave... and return like a disease.

I write your name in every line,
But damn — you never rhyme with “fine.”
You're cold, you're close, you're cruel, you're kind,
You own a lease inside my mind.

You’re not a ghost, you're not a flame,
You ain't love, but you play that game.
I hate how well you know my name…
Loneliness — you're never tame.
