Grace walkin’ through the storm
• Written by ARYEH
[Verse]
Y’all see me in my rarest form all praises due
Grace walkin’ through the storm in these humble shoes
Some folks mad at the outcome that truth ignites
But still praise the scene when the underdog fights
All you can do is lose
Like Nate at the gym before his rise came through
Rookie with a star aim like that quiet dude
Who shook the crowd just by speakin’ truth
I’m all for the mission
When I pick and roll with my vision
Don’t get it twisted
But if you God-fearin’ I might just listen
You pick your path I go with Option B
Y’all want the spotlight I just want God with me
The reason we don’t feel you
Y’all rappin’ the obvious
I speak from the heart
But my soul’s still cautious
Mind filled with themes
Of repentance and promise
Pardon me if my flow brings conscience
And I’m committed to the cause
Call it purpose-driven mosh pit
Better honor love before you toss it
That’s my take on the future
False praise fall off and truth’ll move ya
And that’s a real double meaning
But we gon’ save that for the season
The irony of you askin’ for more
Me giving what’s real and still gettin’ ignored
Isn’t it ironic
My thoughts in your head
And it echoes like a prophet
I’ve been humble for the longest
Still waiting on my breakthrough to be honest
I support my peers
The difference is I bring the Spirit here
And this is me on my faith vibe
Women that I pray for
They shine light
But still war inside
They strong minds
But the pressure tight
So I pray for them daily
In the day and night
And it seems I’m the one
But I don’t chase
I wait on the one
Yeah with that said
I don’t play games
You want a reply?
Better check who you name
I’m trying to find a better lane
Between the purpose and the pressure
I’ve been feeling so drained
And that’s real
Do you really feel the weight?
When your soul gets stretched
And you still stand straight
You thirst for it
You found the well
Now tell me
How could you walk away from that grace?
