Everybody's jacked into some illusion of control, thinking they’re the ones who got it

I’ve seen more authentic power from a knockoff phone charger

They’re being jerked around like they're starring in their own puppet show

Walking around like Wi-Fi signals, connected but dropping every five minutes

They build walls so high around themselves you’d think that

They were protecting state secrets, when really it’s just their fragile ego

And a Spotify playlist full of anthems for retards

Everyone’s a critic until it’s their turn on the chopping block

They’ll dissect your shit with a scalpel, but the moment you talk

About their sorry mess, they cry foul like you pissed on their mom’s rug

Feedback’s only useful when it leaves a scar, and if it doesn’t cut

It’s just noise, like your opinion, half of them act like they’re outlaws

Because they torrent a movie or jaywalk like it’s some grand adventure they went on

Real crime is selling lies and calling it truth, robbing people blind with a smile

And burying your conscience in fine print, but go off, rebel, keep tryin’

To stick it to the man by stealing a candy bar and posting about it on social media

Most people wouldn't know real power if it punched them in the face and beat em up

While wearing brass knuckles, they confuse it with influence and authority

With followers on a screen and voices in a room, they chase it desperately

Like horny moths to a dim-ass bulb, they flex muscles they don't have

And bark orders like their words don't bounce off the wall and smack

Them in the teeth, everyone wants to lead but nobody wants to bleed

They sit on thrones made of cardboard, pretending

That their tantrums shake the world, meanwhile, real power waits

People strut around proudly declaring they don’t need anyone and everything’s okay
