review of @Wasp's Album WSDB?

First off, I need to state my mere inactivity;

I was simply taking a massive break due to real life issues.

Sorry if i didnt complete reviews, or, y'know

I just didnt have the motivation or time to do so!

 

Review:

Overall, This album is Good, Diverse genres, styles, etc.

In my personal opinion, Sudafed is the best song on the album

Aisle 2 is up there in the number 3 spot,

And crammed between 1 and 3 is DNA

 

Aisle 2 gives a horror vibe; and I grew up watching and listening to horror themes

Sudafed is a aggressive hard-hitting song which i seem to enjoy

 

DNA is a mix of aisle 2 and Sudafed which is why its crammed between them

in the ranking.

 

in MY opinion, 12 Miles is the worst song on the album.

12 Miles is a sad-themed type song, It's not a rap

and mostly throughout my childhood, I listened to rap music.

 

So this vibe doesnt really match my liking, y'know?

 

And if i forgot to state already, My rating is coming from a biased perspective

so if you dislike, then thats okay.

 

the most mediocre one of the album is the outro, denominate

It doesnt put up lyricism or rhyme, thematics as the others, I'd say its worse then

12 Miles, but I reread through denominate many times

and that reranked it on the scale.

 

And the core reason why i dislike denominate and put it as mediocre

is because its too battle-rappish

like hes dissing someone, which isnt obvious

 

If its a sneak diss then, Its still mediocre, Its meant for battle rapping,

which battle rapping as a style doesnt fit my type,

and aswell has some corny bars, which is pretty fine but its just.. filled with it.

 

The most underrated one however, Is probably bricks

its wordplay is exceptional in my personal opinion

The best bar is the closing bar in bricks

"just your high school diploma. still unopened, dumbass"

I dont know why, I actually just like this bar

 

Especially the entendre that comes with it.

PHENOMANAL.

 

The most overrated one however, is definitely lawyer up

its too law-ish

It doesnt fit my personal style, its thematic is trash

its the second worse song on the album

and thats really all i have to say for lawyer up to get my point across.

 

Scorching earth, Is probably the 5th best song on the album,

its in the middle between the good and bad

theres no really exact ranking for this though;

Personally, I'd either rate it 5 or 7, its tough to determine this though

so to me i just put it in a big middle 5.
