Can anyone relate?

Say im happy, but you aint seen my life,

Say no one messes with me, but you aint seen my knife,

Or seen the silent tear that comes down with my fear,

Cant see em and not even God can hear,

And you aint witnessed the nights that i spend awake,

Demons wanting in, not many of you can relate,

Hold me tight, and please dont let me slip,

You pass me by, your gonna hear my heart rip,

My only friends, are the ones you cannot see,

They dont let go, and they cant set me free.

You aint seen past my smile, and seen my heart, bruised,

Seen my broken spirit, and my trust, that was abused,

Its easy to believe, what i chose to display,

You see the smile on my face, but didnt see the delay,

Hear the joke i tell, but not my trembling hand,

I want someone to see me, for who i am,

Someone to notice, and understand.
