I’ll get better, and the sun will lay, in the sky, on Sunday

The sun will set, and the sun will rise, I’ll run and open my eyes

To see that all my friends are alive, and no one died, oh

 

There’s a church here, where God prayed, he stayed and said that someday

And the angels in Heaven will always care, for the people of Earth and the people there

He did with his friends, his followers, the Apostles

 

They believed him in him, even on the cross, though

His mother Mary cried in front of that cross, oh

Then he got resurrected, after three days

Then he went up to Heaven, where he layed

Make it to the truest cross, then he’ll heal our broken hearts

Then we’ll travel ‘cross the seas, witness the miracles of JC

You wanna wear a starry crown, I’d follow him with the golden gown

Can we settle down and start, searchin’ for water to prove ‘em wrong

The “thou shalt not”s and “thou shall”s are what we need

We have to read the right Bible to really read

And if we don’t get it right, where will we stand?
