BUILDING BLUEPRINT
Next level lyrical insight is a moment away.
Lyrical Analysis of...
hip hop lives
- I be representing the real hip hop
- but some people just want me to stop
- saying it's a waste of time
- trying to come up with bad ass rhymes
- but yo, some people can't relate
- on what makes hip hop great
- the dance, the voice, the art, the creativity
- deejays rockin from city to city
- what a pity this is taken for granted
- others would rather be slaves instead
- to this evil man society
- you say you love me, don't lie to me
- every one is selfish and nobody cares
- I dare you to play real hip hop on the air
- radio play what ever, they don't care
- MTV and BET is what kids stare at
- thinking that's hip hop culture
- kool herc, afrika bam and flash are the pure
- krs, tribe called quest wu tang I invest
- j 5, visionaries would be my guest
- to put on a show so all will know
- how real hip hop flows
- before I go, I must say
- that we gotta pray for better days
- so the seeds can grow
- they will learn and know
- that hip hop has gotten sown
- so let's get it on till the break of dawn
- cuz were the kings and queens, and there just pawns
- life can be full of problems and this is just a song
- let's say amen and start to get along
- hip hop lives, be strong.
