Lyrical Analysis of...
Whiskey Rebellion rap
- In about 1791
- America, got in debt
- from a war we just won
- There’s something i don't get
- Hamilton got his degree
- now he is taxing our whiskey
- I’m losing my tolerance
- This is preposterous
- It’s an abuse of federal authority
- and by the way thank you for giving the floor to me
- The farmers are meeting, and gathering, to act
- We fighting back cause we tired of this tax
- Hamilton needs to relax
- Before these collectors get my axe
- Quickly the rebellion multiplied in numbers
- Hamilton better check the government before it plunders
- I see you got Mr. President and his troops
- Before you get those groups
- Whatever happens, you are still a dangerous man
- Farmers will forever be behind Thomas Jefferson
- The rebellion might just be over
- but let me leave you with this closure
- the government is still not doing it's job
- we need to open the door by turning the doorknob
- Into a life of better representation
- We need a better foundation
- while i still have you
- Just know we ain't threw
- what's with this paper money
- its truly just funny
- how again we are targeted
- and always discarded
- Might i also mention
- this might not have been your intention
- but now that i've got your attention
- you did not make a good first impression
- The rich only matter to you
- So why don’t you just leave us alone, cause we are through
