Lyrical Analysis of...
Rap For Life
- My life has been full with fails.
- Bad times, times I've almost gone to jail.
- Now, my mom gets good letters from the school in the mail.
- Plus, I got a job, where the worst I receive is a hangnail.
- I know I've been through a lot.
- My job, my parents, they all put me on the spot.
- Inside my head, the rap part, I'm having the time of my life.
- Because I love rap, and I want on rap for life.
- Because rapping makes me more high,
- It's either that, or die.
- If I don't have rhymes, why even try?
- I have a huge crush on the rap game.
- I'm in love with it.
- It makes me change my ways.
- It makes me look happy, so I don't have a sad face.
- It makes me feel like no hope is lost.
- If only I could find the sweet spot, the hot spot.
- Make beats drop.
- Make rhymes harder than when LeBron flops.
- Make the crowd grow louder than when CP3 lobs.
- Rapping for life makes me feel happy, sometimes silly,
- at that point, no one can hit me.
- I feel like AJ Lee when she's skipping.
- So I plan on continuing to rhyme,
- til I feel like I'm past my prime.
- So, you'll have to wait a long time til I decide to hang up the mic.
- I know I've been rapping for a while now. About two years,
- Been having a Hell of a career.
- I know I've been going slow.
- But it's gonna be a while til I decide to go.
- Until that happens, I'll continue to grow.
- You have to admit, my rap is nice,
- cause I know how to make it right.
- That's why I want to rap for life.
