Lyrical Analysis of...
Multi's Tutorial
- I can teach you multi's real quick, answer the questions to yourself.
- (use different rhymes if you want, recommended after)
- What rhymes with Kush? (Push, Mush, Bush, Tush )1
- What rhymes with Bands? (Stand, Hand, Planned, Demand )2
- Now pick one word from each rhymescheme(1 and 2) so you have two words which make sense when put together, example :
- >(PUSH Stands and MUSH Hands )
- In other words, it's 2 rhymes in 1.
- Then if needed( which in this case it is) you can edit it, by adding extra syllables and come up with a nice rhymescheme, example:
- >(blowing KUSH and BANDS, while PUSHing STANDS and MUSHing HANDS, ain't that what george BUSH deMANDS? )
- Notice how only certain parts of the words rhyme?
- that's the beauty of multi's, you can choose to rhyme certain syllables in the words you want and it gives you a broader horizon of rhymes and more options, instead of going for the same old single and double syllable rhymes.
- When you advance in that, you can try some 6 syllable rhymeschemes, which is normally 3 to 4 words in one, example:
- >(KILL my PSY CHIA TRIST) (SILver EYE's, IRON FIST) (FEEL the VIBE, BUY the DISC )ect.
- Hope that makes sense, just keep practicing and it'll come naturally but don't think about it too much and don't over do it either, as that can be worse than having no multi's at all.
- Peace.
