Lyrical Analysis of...
Another Damn Unreleased (07/28/25)
- [Verse 1]
- Was a kid when my uncle died
- ’Round clips, felt the struggle and nines
- Surround sound shots, I saw the blood
- Fallin’ off my uncle’s head, and
- I wanna escape but my legs can’t go
- And hell, I saw his head pop, and I know
- His path was already packed long ago
- Felt me bad ’cause dad said his freedom can’t come
- ’Cause God didn’t bless his soul, seen blood, it’s done
- My momma used to say, “Everything is good
- Till ya ways use you just to put you down, ain’t new”
- [Verse 2]
- When I was 27, I saw Heaven as my reverend
- Pen marks where dark can’t mark, by better days
- I used to think pain was a chain that forever closed our ways
- Now I think pain is a door we need together, it’s okay
- I don’t wanna be disconnected, I grow
- And now you feel me in yo’ selections, I know
- Lord know me and I know Lord, maybe I sin
- Everybody just sins, but I believe you did
- The effort that opened ya heart so you could see
- Can’t afford their kids, that’s part of it
- It’s all just ’cause we can’t rest in peace
- And it’s a piece of God’s blessing in it
- Ain’t my voice, I sing to all the boys
- Who couldn’t make it, R.I.P.
- [Verse 3]
- The two verses ain’t true
- But I know people can feel ’em like you do
- I’m a writer who flows from the lighter just to grow
- Feelin’ ’em, fighters whose smiles don’t overreact
- What is freedom? For me it’s the light that covers paths
- See bombs over ya head, call ’em just another bag
- Of cash and crack that cracks ya reality till eternity
- To free our minds, we need less brag and more diversity
- I wonder when the evil surrounds us?
- One for the better days, two for the sounds of
- Freedom, it never runs away, you the only blessed
- ’Cause three different ways to see our times exist
- Four rooms for our type lives, fame is just casual
- Five plus five sentences to blame irrationals
- Six natural things changed and formed the Earth
- Seven seas to God, Heaven, together see the birth
- Of a lovely land, eight truths, four eight, nine fruits of the Spirit
- Genesis, the end and the eye, its roots off limits
- Generic tension in ya intention to get attention
- Esoteric, it’s ya potential to bring and make connections
- To God, then we can say we really flee and free
- I’m no one to make you change, but I can make ya see
- Me and you both know we need some
- And it’s freedom
