BUILDING BLUEPRINT

Next level lyrical insight is a moment away.

  1. 1. Which track means the most to each of you and why ?
  2.
  3. //Coin
  4. One side could argue 'No Surrender', but I
  5. had much more fun writing my verse on 'Underground'. One thing I love is
  6. being able to stretch out a rhyme for as long as i can and be able to have good bars behind that.
  7. That is not an easy thing to do, depending on how you're doing it. Plus the beat selection was a
  8. good choice. I think both of our verses pulled off the raw, real, and hard core style pretty well.
  9.
  10. //Justice
  11. For me it's Aged well. Not the best track on the album.
  12. But I think it was important to me because it was a track that allowed
  13. Me to pay homage to the pioneers and the people who helped me as an artist.
  14. The roots of hip hop are more important that anything that happens or will happen
  15. In hip hop.
  16.
  17. 2. Are there any inspirations outside of rap that influence your writing ?
  18.
  19. //Coin
  20. Always. Influence from movies, TV shows, video games have an influence on me for creativity.
  21. I try to be more open minded for each verse I do, Cuz I find where I start rhyming the same things,
  22. With the same flows and it would lead to writers block. But I learned that sometimes the simplest
  23. Bars can still hit, just depends on how it was written.
  24.
  25. //Justice
  26. Mainly my emotions. I'm not very emotional as a person until the pen is involved.
  27. So that's where indraw inspiration from just what ever I feel.
  28.
  29. 3. What is your favorite track in the album ?
  30.
  31. //Coin
  32. Underground, or 'She's Mine.' We were laughing when we came up with the Diddler part.
  33. Prolly the best song on the album in terms of storytelling. But my verse on 'Jinx'
  34. Is definitely an upgrade for me to think more out of the box.
  35.
  36. //Justice
  37. Underground or She's mine. Underground was just crazy lyrically
  38. And we both matched eachother while She's mine was just as crazy with the story telling.
  39. Actually she's mine is my favorite for many reasons. The main one is that we got to battle for a little bit
  40. And he's the only person that has matched me on a battle rap setting.
  41. Probaly would have went way longer if not for a time limit lol.
  42.
  43. 4. Will there be another duo album down the line ?
  44.
  45. //Coin
  46. There's a possibility. But it may not be for a while, Cuz I'm sure we just want to focus
  47. more on our own things right now. But I'd be down.
  48.
  49. //Justice
  50. Definitely but nit for a while. We both are really busy plus
  51. We well at least I, really want this to be something the people find a treasure.
  52. But yeah definitely in the future.
  53.
  54. 5. Do either of you have solo albums coming out?
  55.
  56. //Coin
  57. So I have another album coming hopefully this month called 'Malfunction!'.
  58. And then another album with Tewsly coming sometime end of July or early August.
  59. And I already planned an album ahead, which revisiting the old roots to one of my older albums.
  60. In other words, a sequel.
  61.
  62. //Justice
  63. I have two planned coming out. One more emotional than usual and then the other
  64. Is a concept album. And then I'm in the middle of making a recorded album.
  65.

  79. 7. What is your writing process like ?
  80.
  81. //Coin
  82. I always use pen and pad. Just throw a word down, see how many times
  83. you can rhyme it, play connect the dots with whatever has similar meanings/ synonyms,
  84. And I write. There's more to it, but look at everything, every word as a cartoon.
  85. I sometimes drink a red bull, a banana, or lots of water to think clearly.
  86.
  87. //Justice
  88. Asking me to give away my secrets lol. But mainly I freestyle
  89. And then I edit the freestyle to make it more technical.
  90.

  98. But mainly that whole Kanye scheme. That shit was fire as fuck. And most rappers
  99. Don't have the ability to scheme that Long. I was kinda pissed lol.
