Lyrical Analysis of...

Reflection (aryeh diss)

  1. Pass few days I’ve been looking my work
  2. Asking myself did this man do his research?
  3. Did a doctor feed you herbs that infected you
  4. To stoop so low to think I’m somehow less than you
  5. Cuz I’m seeing false hope in the bars you’ve wrote
  6. Coping with the moment you were cut cold
  7. All this filler lyrics come across as writing faster
  8. But people examine it, nothing comes across as master
  9. It’s plaster on a wall, forgotten and dried
  10. That’s why after your first diss to me and tape, your other work barely survived
  11. Its fascinating to see before my very eyes
  12. To see a man so institutionalized in his mind
  13. By a guy named Kalligraphy who just commits himself to rhymes
  14. And ARYEH makes it easy to vomit all over on what he writes
  15. But at night when he tucks himself in really tight
  16. He knows he overworked and nothing came airtight
  17. I mean not a bar that I can remember from your diss called ?
  18. I can’t even remember what those messes were called
  19. But if you need some refreshing I think it didn’t deserve an applause
  20. It was ‘freshing to see ARYEH spiral and fall
  21. A bar after one with no sense that I can recall
  22. Just keep behind the bars as I lock you in cell
  23. Incarcerated for abusing yourself and tryna look to prevail
  24. Now you’re in with Hopsins and NF at the corny jail
  25. Just shut up and write entendres that we can’t tell
  26. That’s what I do and most you fools can’t think through
  27. I’m jumping through loopholes and stepping over crews
  28. Knocking out: (insert who) names hard to remember
  29. Not a man from your pews will make it to September
  30. And if they do it’s cuz they’re on machines to monitor
  31. Their heart and everyday their seeing thermometers
  32. To see how hot they are but the results show low
  33. Your own cells see us grow as you lay down slow
  34. Entering the gates of hell locked from the love below
  35. An absence of actually appeasing the appetite
  36. You’re a sodomite caught in the teasing light
  37. With ebonites from a weaker flight to see a fight
  38. Between me and you but the money they spent isn’t worth
  39. Just for a first round KO, the fans leave the show
  40. Knowing I was acting all along while you played your hardest bro
  41. Come on, you ain’t even seen half the show
  42. One day you’ll see the beast emerge and reap what you sow
  43. Feasting on your own, eating your own skin
  44. Begging for change or features to speak in
  45. Cuz these men you peeing with and seeing this
  46. And ARYEH you got bars but it’s every solar eclipse
  47. They say 2 legends can coexist
  48. But I see myself and you and realize that statement is shit
  49. And ARYEH won’t even read this section
  50. But if he does I need to teach him a lesson
  51. Father to son, I guess I’m regressing
  52. But back to the testing, ARYEH who you questioning
  53. Asking yourself is another diss affecting
  54. Or is it just another salad missing it’s dressing
  55. Plain and simple, easy to cut through like meshing
  56. Your pain is laying on your brain like “hold that thought”
  57. Control your art and stop thinking you got the shot
  58. And I hope you understand what I’m about to say
  59. That not every diss needs a response so hearsay
  60. Hypothesis: you’ll respond within in a day
  61. Another mediocre message to the fans you’ve let astray
  62. Into thinking you're great but you’re recycled ashtray
  63. And if you don’t, just know that I’m still in control
