DEFENDER'S RAP

• grim crimes committed in Crimea, Cry me a river of tears
• even if you're not living in fear, and your life is different here
• the cold climate of the cold war could come and kick you
• like climate changes, as the countries collide, split in two
• in the news, cynics views, viewers sit and choose
• and think to do nothing, nature turns ways, earthqakes
• obliterate, till you've been through the worst pain
• it's a tragedy, but in terms of politics you're apathetic
• pathetic that people don't peddle a protest till they're right up against it
• are they pillaging pennies from hopeless peasents?
• and do we even know what the difference is when we go to elections?
• im apprehensive, i still don't know the outcome
• dont doubt one, when one puts out songs, move from the ground up
• from down up, there are many hardships that i found tough
• you tell me stop being political, its about the individual
• and i shouldn't be this cynical and miserable.
