CHALLENGER'S RAP
- I recall the first time I saw her in the club.
- Shaking that ass, I just wanted her to hit me up.
- Of all the things I was thinkin', I wasn't thinking about love.
- I looked right at her and said "Baby come here."
- She whispered a little something in my ear,
- "Why don't you and I just dissapear?"
- Within minutes her clothes were askew.
- She was doing things them good girls don't do.
- I woke up to her tracing my tattoo.
- She spent the night,
- I thought "Alright."
- And left after slipping on my Nikes.
- Figuring she'd leave.
- And that she'd see,
- One night didn't mean she was the woman for me.
- I stepped back in after I ran a bit.
- She was there, cooking grits.
- What was she doing still in my crib?
- Silly thing is, I didn't ever say "Get out."
- But I can't say I didn't ever doubt.
- I was terrified, because love was starting to sprout.
- I know my intentions were never honorable.
- And nothing feels stable.
- But playing this life poker with her, all is on the table.
- I don't want to wait,
- It's time to wipe the slate.
- Little did I know, I was a day too late.
- She left a letter,
- Telling me her leaving was for the better.
- "Because you don't seem like to type to want a daughter."
- "I'm trying to same us all some pain."
- "Because arguing with you over this will all be in vain."
- "And I refuse to let my little baby be slain."
- Little did she know, that wasn't my plan.
- I would love to be her man.
- But I couldn't because she ran.

- And I can't help but wonder.
- What I'll do without her?
- I told the club, in which I had met her.

DEFENDER'S RAP
- Yo man, you know the feeling when you losing sight of love/

- too high/ and that's the point you realize you need to say goodbye/ it
- ain't worth the try/ but you know how it goes after a week goes by,
- wanting to go back to the/ days that your love was sane and your
- thoughts were the same/ instead you feel pain whenever somebody
- mentions her name/ she already said she'd change and here you are
- being treated the same/ stop bullshitting and bitchin' cause you've
- already stopped listenin'/ you're sick of the pissin' 'n' moanin' waiting
- for her to come out and show it/ instead of saying she'll control it/
- you're starting to think it's your fault, you think it over 'n' over/ but
- what's the point it's almost over, your heart skips a beat as you rest
- your head on her shoulder, one last time…
