DEFENDER'S RAP

• See, its kinda complicated the way i leave this,
• cos you can still feel my presence coming back like a memory that hit you,
• before i dragged the first blunt in my life, all i heard was breathe this,
• and i can still feel the essence.
• whats life without me? y'all existing without my presence?
• These are all ideas in my head that don't make sense,
• had big dreams bout small my beginnings,
• dreams so vivid that i couldn't differentiate it from reality,
• everything that was once wrong now seems right to me,
• got the blunt in my hand, someone pass the light to me,
• first lie told to me, was the best things in life are free,
• still remember window shopping outside stores,
• wishing i could buy everything i see,
• the price tag for life is bout how much a dollar cost,
• but mamma said a penny saved equals to no dollar lost,
• its been crazy up here, i and my mind always had clashes,
• The only difference is that we resolving our differences,
• with that said, hope to grow in to a better person,
• every mistake i made was a chance to learn a greater lesson.
• watching time pass me by like a girl i couldn't talk to,
• and that's cos life's got me dancing to the weird beat you couldn't step to.
