CHALLENGER'S RAP
- When i was a kid i was pretty happy
- Had a bright future ahead of me
- dreams of what i wanted to be
- Fire man, doctor, maybe join the police
- Then i hit the age of thirteen
- Introduced to the drug scene
- Liquor, weed, extasy, all inside of me
- but i am about to get that anxiety
- cause the bags are getting empty
- wow, this shits got a hold of me
- Then i went on to the next step
- Coke and dope, oh no, no, no
- your loosing control, grab hold
- dont let go, this is taking you down the wrong road
- you might not make out of this black hole
- Now i'm broke, no where to go, all alone
- feeling like im a joke, just begging for a toke
- calling every dealer in my cell phone
- Then i hit 21, drinking and driving
- Blacked out, with my lights out
- Blue and red lights all around
- So that night, they got me for a dui
- and while they are reading me my rights
- I realized this just fucked up my life
DEFENDER'S RAP
- She was so young when her uncle swung
- & her mom flung to the ground as screamed out her lungs
- She felt complete defeat as she watched her mom get beat
- Way to little to be gettin in the middle
- She begs him to stop as her grandmas screaming on the phone with the cops
- A nightly fight is her commom sight, keep your head high you'll be alright
- Cause you weren't allowed to show emotion
- in a house with so much commotion
- She didn't tell the other kids at school what went on in fear they'd be to cruel
- They all talked about mommy and daddy and there nice new caddy
- They were all so innocent,
- they didnt even know what half the shit sees seen meant,
- her reality was bent
- She was only 8 years old, already seeing the world so cold
- But that was her key in growing up so bold having a heart of gold
