CHALLENGER'S RAP
- Let me set the scene:
- I'm walking steadily, lost in a dessert
- I feel parched, but there nothing left in my canteen
- In the middle of the summer water is even more dispersed
- I need to quench my thirst, before I become deterred to live any longer
- The heat makes me feel crispy and burnt, and it's only getting stronger
- Day's are getting longer, nights are getting colder, body growing weaker, and mind seems to maunder
- I refuse to falter, I will press forward
- Then I see it, if I wasn't dry I'd have tears in my eye's
- I fall to my knees and thank God for this heavenly surprise
- A small pool of water off in the distance
- Never knew how much I've missed it, I call out to it like it was the name of my misstress
- I quickly stroll over, shove my face under, drink up it's delicious
- Then something grabs my arm, pulling me under
- I'm submerged in water, mind sounding alarms
- It charges forward at great speed, I have no strength to swim to land, no time to retreat
- I'm trying to reach for something to defend myself, I grab a large rock and squeeze
