CHALLENGER'S RAP

• Forever stuck in hip hop I'll walk this road till my hip pops,
• It's a hard pill to swallow when it feels like you've sipped rocks,
• Entangled in a thick knot wish God would guide me past the
• streets that criss cross, Guess the jokes on me but I see no chris rock,
• Grew up without a father figure I miss my pops till I think it over
• and I think not, I find more comfort when writing these ink blots
• out comes a story with no distinct plot, I walk as a lonely ghost
• down these roads to a place I don't call home just to sleep on a
• pillow and curl up on a bed like an armadillow dead, Get up the next
• day and do it all over again, My clothes look like a mess my job only
• pays in cents than two weeks later getting that pathetic check guess
• I wasn't meant for success it sends me over the edge as I sit here an
• loath depressed, With all visions envisioned thought by now I would've
• arisened, But I'm no Jesus Christ just a genius that writes inside demons
• they fight slowly they take my remaining piece of might now all's I got left
• to do is spread my peace on this mic till the weight I carry crushes me to
• pieces by night, I swear my life's a hill, cause it only steepens in height,
• Unobtainable goals I'm reachin for like I'm a treadmill running for
• that donut on a string my breathing gets tight weezing is the price
• for fame its no easy right, So why am I seeking this life? Look at me,
• I'm speaking in rhyme, This games bleeding me of sight, Cause I only
• see me becoming the best to pick up a pen, I sit in a den sifting through my
• ideas as this verse extends trying to get every person impressed while my
• life worsens instead, You ask if this a daily occurance? The anwser is yes
