CHALLENGER'S RAP
- I never grew up in poverty or tragedy
- But in a reality
- full of royalty and principalities
- or at least
- that's what people see of me
- there's a low possibility
- for me
- to be seen as a casualty, casually
- strolling by
- until I'm stopped by
- a person asking when and why
- so by surprise
- I answer without coming close to that border line
- so I entertain my mind
- by thinking about becoming a millionaire
- without using life lines
- Sometimes
- I make a beat to keep track
- of those who attacck me
- in parts where I'm lacking
- Quite Frankly
- I couldn't careless about the things you say of me
- "i" may be in the center of society
- but it doesn't revolve around me
DEFENDER'S RAP
- I heard this story through Facebook of a little girl preaching
- How many people she didn't know she'd be teaching
- She told her story of her mom and dad out to them she was reaching
- For their attention and also seeking
- To change the mind set of the youth with their screeching
- Her life made me wonder why she hadn't began to reach for the breeching
- That's when she explained that her siblings were her saviors
- Got me thinking how this world doesn't grant many favors
- Yet we're expected to love neighbors and strangers
- When the love we receive comes not from our mothers
- Or from our fathers but our brother
- And sisters but most the time not even from our lovers
- Then we're expected to not put up walls like covers
- But break them down like old wooden shutters
- Then there are some who complain about life
- Even those who are married with a husband or a wife
- Some talk about reaching for the knife
- Though with their family they have had no strife
- That's why now a days suicide has become rife
- Because we learn from day one
- That we are brought up in a world with none
- Truthfully even most have more than some
- But some almost never beat one to the gun
