DEFENDER'S RAP

• Little red riding hood taught me not to trust strangers,
• The three little pigs taught me to stick with family when in danger,
• Snow white taught me not to be jealous and in vain,
• Cinderalla taught me to be patient and not complain.
• Rapunzel taught me what true love is,
• And sleeping beauty taught me to never give up on it.
• The beauty and the beast taught me to see within someone
• and not just care about what’s on the outside;
• Hansel and Gratel taught me that anyone can be put in horrid situations
• even the ones innocent on the inside.
• The girl with no hands taught me to be aware of the devil, and to never sin,
• The wolf and the seven little kids taught me not to let anyone in.
• So many stories, some left me in constant tears and some with hysterical laughter,
• The truth is, those stories taught me that there’s a huge gap between,
• a “once upon a time” and a “happily ever after”
• But what if there’s no happiness thereafter,
• What if the life I live is meant to be a disaster,
• Always looking for an answer,
• Put my clock on an aventador, cause time is only moving faster.
• All those stories taught me lessons and morals, but in reality; life is not that simple
• We fall for the wrong people, we trust too many, and we measure beauty by pimples
• So here I am today, hiding in my shell,
• Writing you the stories; I want to tell,
• Used to think I’m blessed,
• But all I am is cursed by a spell,
• A spell that's going to dwell.
• In a life of heaven or hell,
• I’m trapped in the middle, improsined in a cell
• I can either yell,
• Or write you REAL stories so you can learn as well.
